Country: Republic of Uzbekistan Credit/Loan No.: IDA-69430, TF0B5804-UZ RFB No: RFB/MUTS/2021-7R Issued on: July 13 , 2026   1.         The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Electricity Sector Transformation and Resilient Transmission (ESTART) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for Modernization and upgrade of main grid substations: Gulcha SS 220 kV, 0 SS 220 kV, Gornaya SS 220 kV Daugiz-Tau SS 220 kV. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. 2.        The JSC National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan (NEGU) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Modernization and upgrade of main grid substations: Gulcha SS 220 kV, 0 SS 220 kV, Gornaya SS 220 kV Daugiz-Tau SS 220 kV . The Bidders’ qualification requirements include: The qualification requirements for bidders, including General Experience, Specific Experience, Financial Capabilities, and other requirements set out in Section III of the RFB, shall apply.
