Specific Procurement Notice   Request for Bids Goods (Two-Envelope Bidding Process)   Country:  Republic of Mozambique Name of Project:  East Africa Girls' Empowerment and Resilience Project Contract Title : Supply and Distribution of 6500 Bicycles, and Provision of Training Services and Supply of Spare Parts, in Niassa & Tete, Inhambane & Gaza, 2027 -2028   Grant Nº:   E-2120 RFB  Nº  MZ-MJD-507990-GO-RFB   The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the East Africa Girls' Empowerment and Resilience Project (EAGER), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Distribution of Bicycles, and Provision of Training Services and Supply of Spare Parts, in Niassa & Tete, Inhambane & Gaza, 2027 -2028. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.   The National Youth Institute (INJ), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for for Supply and Distribution of Bicycles, and Provision of Training Services and Supply of Spare Parts, in Niassa & Tete, Inhambane & Gaza, 2027 -2028   Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB)  as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September, 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.  Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents.
