The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology ( icipe ) has received financing from the World Bank towards the Accelerating Innovation and Catalyzing Capacity for Resilience in Africa (AICCRA-FSRP IV) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the Program Officer assignment.  This Consultant shall work for an initial period of Twenty-four (24) calendar months from contract commencement date, but the period is subject to extension based on AICCRA-FSRP IV Project needs, funds availability, and satisfactory performance.  The objective of the assignment is for the Program Officer to provide program coordination, technical, administrative and logistical support to the AICCRA-FSRP IV Project Implementation Unit (PIU). This is intended to strengthen project coordination and implementation capacity by supporting planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and day-to-day project operations, thereby ensuring the efficient delivery of project activities in accordance with project objectives and donor requirements. 3.
