REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION) Country: Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Project: Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) Loan No./Credit No./Grant No.: TF0C5097-3E Assignment Title: Recruitment of Seychelles Country Focal Point Reference No.: MZ-REPAIR-495524-CS-INDV-2 African Risk Capacity Limited (ARC Ltd.) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) Programme and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services include the recruitment of a Country Focal Point for Seychelles to support the implementation of the REPAIR Programme at country level. The Country Focal Point will serve as the principal in-country liaison officer between ARC Ltd. and national stakeholders, including the Ministry of Finance and representatives of various distribution channels, support project execution and stakeholder communication, ensure alignment of in-country activities with World Bank Environmental and Social Safeguards, support monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and contribute to the achievement of the Programme Development Objective of strengthening financial and operational preparedness to respond rapidly to climate and other shocks. The assignment is full-time for an initial period of one (1) year, renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance. ARC Ltd. now invites eligible individual consultants ("Consultants") who are nationals of Seychelles and/or hold a valid work permit authorising employment in Seychelles to indicate their interest in providing the Services.
