Pricing is exposed to commodity and energy markets, so fixed prices are offered only for short validity periods and longer contracts carry indexation against a published series. Bidders quote delivered prices that bundle haulage, and because haulage is a large share of the cost of heavy materials, the location of the plant relative to the site decides competitiveness more than the ex-works price does.
