REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION) Belize Climate Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture Project (CRESAP) Loan No.: 9347 BE Project ID No.: P172592 Assignment Title: Laboratory Technicians Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): BZ-SIF-490568-CS-INDV The Government of Belize has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Climate Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) is for a suitable qualified LABORARTORY TECHNICIANS (2) FOR THE SUGAR INDUSTRY RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (SIRDI) INTEGRATED PEST AND DISEASE MANAGEMENT LABORATORY . The Laboratory Technicians will work directly under the supervision of the Head of the Laboratory. All work conducted, including reports will be overseen by the Head of the Laboratory and the Climate Resilient & Sustainable Agriculture Project (CRESAP) team. The GOB has appointed the Belize Social Investment Fund (BSIF) as the implementing agency for the project and the BSIF is seeking to recruit three ( 2) Laboratory Technicians for SIRDI. The consultancy is expected to be for an initial period of Twenty (20) months commencing August 2025.
