Czechia – Local area network – Vybudování privátní 5G sítě pro areál FNUSA

The subject of the public contract is the construction of a private 5G network (closed only for the needs of the St. Anne's University Hospital, hereinafter referred to as FNUSA) for the hospital's wireless guaranteed data communication. The operation of the 5G network will be ensured by the contracting authority itself in cooperation with the 5G network frequency license provider. The construction of local infrastructure for the private 5G network at FNUSA aims to improve and consolidate the network coverage of the hospital premises. The implementation of this network will provide the hospital with a modern, efficient and secure communication solution for its own work and operational purposes. Thanks to its high transmission speed and low latency, the private 5G network will be ideal for supporting demanding mobile applications, such as fast data processing from medical devices or access to internal applications from mobile devices. A key advantage of this solution is also independence from public mobile networks, as the hospital will have its own frequency band, which ensures stable and reliable operation. Data security and protection of patient privacy are absolute priorities, which is why the hospital's existing backbone infrastructure will be used for the core of the network. As a result, all data will remain within the hospital infrastructure and will not be exposed to external threats. The result will be a robust, secure and autonomous network that will bring significant benefits to the efficiency of hospital operations and the quality of patient care.
