On March 8, 2011, it entered into a Public Service Delegation contract with the Casino de Lacanau company (COGIT group) for a period of 12 years, extended by one year through Amendment No. 3 and then by a further one year through Amendment No. 4. The physical casino premises are governed by a private commercial lease agreement between the Société Civile Immobilière Pyramide III L'Ardilouse and the Casino de Lacanau company, signed on May 2, 1998, and renewed by amendment on May 29, 2011. Therefore, the property, being privately owned, does not belong to the municipality and is not part of the public domain. The owner will make the building available to prospective operators under a new commercial lease. The casino primarily comprises a building with a gaming room (table games and slot machines), a restaurant, a bar, and technical facilities, with offices on the upper floor and an outdoor area featuring a recreational pool (swimming prohibited). The concessionaire will be responsible for operating the casino according to the terms and conditions set out in the tender specifications for a period of five years and six months, starting on May 1, 2025.
