France – Cremation services – Concession pour la Construction et l'Exploitation du Crématorium

Duration between 25 and 30 years. The concessionaire will be responsible for: - the construction of a building with parking and the supply of associated crematorium equipment (furnace, filtration system, etc.); - the management and operation of the crematorium under a concession agreement. The concessionaire will finance all expenses, including: the construction of the crematorium and all equipment; - study and financing costs; - the restoration of the land immediately surrounding the facilities after construction; - taxes and fees related to the facility; - any necessary soil studies; - the costs associated with the building permit application; - the administrative fees required for approval by the Prefect; - and, in general, all work and expenses necessary for the construction and operation of the facilities. The concessionaire responsible for the service will manage it in accordance with the contract. The concessionaire will operate the service at its own risk. The concessionaire's remuneration will be linked to the results of operating the public service. The concessionaire will be remunerated by the revenue collected from users and ancillary revenue.
