The City of Bordeaux, under a previous contract, took out a second-line property damage insurance policy for the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, effective January 1, 2023, for a period of five years. This policy was underwritten by CHUBB (lead insurer, 70%) and ZURICH (co-insurer, 30%), with the broker MARSH. The insurer terminated that contract on January 1, 2025. The purpose of this contract is therefore to take out a new second-line property damage insurance policy for the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, effective July 1, 2025, for an initial term of six months and three years, with the possibility of a one-year renewal. The second-line property damage coverage aims to cover damages exceeding €70 million (the contractual limit of indemnity for the first-line property damage insurance policy). Services are paid for at fixed prices. Responding to the base offer (2nd line guarantee amount = €80,000,000) or to the Additional Service Plans (PSEs) initiated by the buyer is not mandatory. Candidates may choose to respond to: 1- The base offer as defined in the specifications; 2- The base offer plus the optional Additional Service Plan (PSE No. 1) initiated by the buyer; 3- The base offer plus the optional Additional Service Plan (PSE No. 2) initiated by the buyer; 4- A free variant (only one free variant is permitted) initiated by the candidate, which may address the points detailed in Article 2.6.2 of the Special Conditions of Contract (CCAP), while respecting the minimum requirements detailed in said article.
