Implementation of construction works on the construction site entitled "Modernization of the Žilina - Košice railway line, section of the Poprad Tatry (outside) - Krompachy line. Part: A.2 Vydrník (outside) - Markušovce (outside)". The purpose of the construction is to modernize the railway infrastructure in the Vydrník (outside) - Markušovce (outside) section. Reconstruction of the existing railway line in order to improve its technical equipment and usability by installing modern and progressive elements and thus improving its parameters. After implementation, the construction must meet the requirements of Act No. 513/2009 Coll. on railways and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, as amended, Decree of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Slovak Republic No. 350/2010 Coll. on the construction and technical order of railways, valid STN standards, EN standards and valid ŽSR regulations. The construction is divided into the following functionally interconnected integral parts of the construction (hereinafter referred to as "UČS"): UČS 05 line section Markušovce - ŽST SPIŠSKÁ NOVÁ VES UČS 06 line section Spišská Nová Ves - VÝH SPIŠSKÉ TOMÁŠOVCE UČS 07 line section Spišské Tomášovce - Vydrník UČS 14 ŽST KROMPACHY - ŽST POPRAD-TATRY - radio system GSM-R and ETCS L2 (in section UČS 5-12), part A.2 radio system GSM-R and ETCS L2 in construction preparation for activation of ETCS L2 part A1 UČS 16 CRD Poprad A detailed description is provided in the tender documents.
