This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular

This solicitation is for SDVOSB setaside.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is [334510], with a small business size standard of [1,250 emp].
The FSC/PSC is [6515].
The purpose of this requirement is to replace the current Zoll SurePower Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Packs that power the defibrillators at the VA Maryland Healthcare System.
All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following:
The contractor shall deliver the system with all specified salient characteristics. Only new equipment will be accepted.
The contractor is responsible for identifying any missing parts or components not included in the order for the Battery Packs to be successfully installed and validated to its full potential.
The contractor shall remove facility s current battery packs.
Vendor VPN will not be used to access VA network.
MOU-ISA is not necessary because vendor remote access will not be conducted.
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
Technically equivalent to the Zoll SurePower Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack.
Must have 5.8 Ah Capacity.
Must have high density lithium-ion chemistry.
Must have RunTime Indicator.
Must have automatic calibration ready.
