Page 2 of 2 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26226Q1265 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with five (5) one-year ordering periods. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). (iv) This solicitation intends to award a contract through full and open competition to a business associated with NAICS North American Industrial Classification System Code 334516. (v) See Attachment B Schedule of Pricing for a list of product information, line-item numbers, items, quantities and units of measure. (vi) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to procure two (2) Automated Osmometers with Preventative Maintenance/Service Plan, Test Kits, and Supplies for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services Department located at Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (VA Tucson). Offeror quotations must demonstrate meeting the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation, otherwise it will be considered non-responsive.
