This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has a requirement for supplies, and engineering and logistics support services in support of the life cycle sustainment of the Multi-spectral Targeting System Family of Systems (hereinafter known as MTS). The proposed contract action will be solicited and negotiated on a sole source basis with Raytheon Company, 2501 W University DR Mckinney, Texas 75071-1300 (CAGE 96214), under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements).  The basis for restricting competition is due to lack of Government owned drawings as well as duplicative costs and schedule delays that the Government does not expect to be recovered through competition.
