The Government of the Republic of South Sudan, through the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of implementation of the Regional Climate Resilience Program for Eastern and Southern Africa and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Rehabilitation of Malakal Town Flood and Drainage System . For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing,   2. The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation of Malakal Town Flood and Drainage System as shown below: Scope of Works Lot Contract Description Location Completion Period Lot-I Malakal Town Existing Drainage Improvement, Pipe Culvert and Drainage Pipelines Supply and Installation Works  Malakal Town, Upper Nile State   120 days from date of commencement Lot-II Malakal Town Khor Gatluak Trunk Drain and Adjoin Road Improvement Works Malakal Town, Upper Nile State   120 days from date of commencement 3. Interested Bidders MUST state which Lot(s) they are applying to participate. Bidders are free to bid for any or both Lots, subject to them meeting the required Qualification Criteria.   4. There will be no Margin of Preference .   5. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB)...
